INTRODUCING...............

Ok.  I know I'm totally a die hard fan of  the Twilight series!!  AHHHHH!!!  So anyways.  I was doing my daily ritual of checking around for new Twilight updates, and well, I found this picture that Summit Entertainment released.  Now, I don't know if this is going to be on the movie poster or not, but it's a REALLY GOOD picture!!!  Anyways, also I heard that there might be a teaser trailer of Twilight when you go see Speed Racer.  But I won't know for sure until next week.  Speed Racer comes out next weekend!!!  SO if it is going to be on there, I am TOTALLY going to see the movie!!!!  SO girls........ Tell me what ya'll think?????

Major improvement!

Ethan, my little man, has made some big improvements this year at school.  He got an award during the school's assembly meeting, called the P.R.O. Award (people respecting others).  It's awarded to the students who showed courtesy, kindness, consideration and respect for his/her fellow students and teachers.  He was so excited!  He told me that while he was at the assembly, he was sitting there listening to the names that were being called, and he said "Mommy, I was sitting there thinking to myself, I'm never going to be called, and then they called my name!"  He's gone from twirling around with scissors in his hand, (which ended up cutting a classmate close to his eye), throwing a building block at another classmates head, being sent to the principals office for all this and other things......to this award!   WE ARE SO PROUD OF HIM!  Another thing that we are so proud of him for is his recent report card.  He has struggled throughout this year with hiding homework, throwing fits about doing homework, not doing his assignments in the classroom because of too much chatting with friends which showed on his report.  But now, he has S+'s and S's and +'s  and a nice paragraph from his teacher praising his huge improvements!  We are so Happy and So Proud of him!

hair up into a mohawk when he hates having anything done to his hair. :P  If Ethan does it, he'll usually let us, but as soon as we're done taking pictures, he's flattening it down as fast as he can. :P

TWILIGHT SET PICTURES!

Ok, so I have emailed a lot of you with this video, but I just wanted to post it up because these are totally awesome pictures of the characters from Twilight in action!  Tell me what you all think?  I thought about seeing if we could some how make it to the premiere of the movie. BUTT.... It seemed pretty far fetched.  So I was emailing Jamie with the idea of all of us girls getting together and finding an awesome theater to watch it at the day the movie comes out!  Does that sound like a cool idea??  Let's brain storm and see what we can come up with!  

THE ZOO!!

We went to the Zoo a few days ago.  The weather was 70 degrees!  Unfortunately Ethan was not there because he was at school, but we'll definitely be back again, especially since there are two sections of the zoo that we did not get to visit when we were there.  This zoo is HUGE!  Any how, Owen and Dallin had a blast.  As you can see, Dallin spent a good amount of time in the stroller, while Owen walked. (It should've been the other way around). :P  The boys got to ride on the zoo's train and carousel.  Owen got a little scared riding on the carousel as you can see in the picture. :)  He also got scared when we walked into a large cage filled with different types of birds that were free to wonder around, he held onto my leg the whole time while we were walking through the cage.  Surprisingly he was not scared of the Tiger we saw, but I got a little scared because he started to growl at us and show his large fangs!  So we quickly left.  I think he was just trying to take a nap in the log and didn't like people staring at him.  I always get nervous whenever we see tigers, lions, panthers, and bears, because of the many horror stories we've heard about attacks at zoos.  Owen was pretty fearless with the geese who showed up at the picnic tables where we were eating and tried to make friends with them.  He even tried to follow them when they were leaving, and I ended up chasing after him  and grabbing him before he caught up to them!  We had a great time and I'm looking forward to going again and seeing the rest of the zoo.

Adios amigo!  

Today was awesome!  The weather was a whopping 65 degrees!  No jackets or gloves or hats!  And in Kansas, this will last all but a day.  :(  We went to a primary activity this morning and as we were leaving, Dallin said, "Can we go swim in the pool!"  That's the first thing that he thinks of when there's warm weather.  We'll be taking advantage of the pool at our condos this summer, that's for sure!  And I can't wait for the warm weather to get here.  Later this week, it's suppose to snow :(  (sigh).  Well, we enjoyed the weather while it lasted. :)   

GO DIEGO GO!!!

Some of you may already know this, but I am starting to introduce Owen to the potty.  I decided to buy Owen a Diego potty to help him get interested in going potty, and well, when I first brought it home I left it in the entry way in it's box while I put the groceries away, well Heber said that Owen stood there for like 15 minutes staring at it, and when Heber approached him, he said that Owen gave him this strange unsure look.  Well, I took it out and left it in the kitchen for him to look at and examine, and he did just that, but he would NOT sit on it.  I would ask him if he wanted to sit on it, and he gave me a flat out "NO".   So I left him alone.  The next day he examined it as usual and would squat and look at it, but would NOT sit on it, even if I encouraged him.  That night he decided to creep up to it and start to sit down, but then he saw me watching him and said "Go away mommy, go away".  So I started to walk away, and then I peeked back and saw him sitting on it!  I turned the corner and started to laugh.  Then a little later, Dallin came up and while I was cleaning up the kitchen, I over heard Dallin persuading Owen to sit on the potty, and when he did he said "Good Job!"  And then Dallin was able to coax Owen into sitting on the potty without his diaper on, and he did!  I gave Owen a diego sticker for his efforts and praised him.  Then while I was on clearing the table, I looked over at Dallin and Owen and saw that Dallin had Owen laying on his back on the floor and Dallin was putting a diaper on Owen just like he sees me do!!  I just cracked up!  I unfortunately did not get any pictures of it.
