GO DIEGO GO!!!

Some of you may already know this, but I am starting to introduce Owen to the potty.  I decided to buy Owen a Diego potty to help him get interested in going potty, and well, when I first brought it home I left it in the entry way in it's box while I put the groceries away, well Heber said that Owen stood there for like 15 minutes staring at it, and when Heber approached him, he said that Owen gave him this strange unsure look.  Well, I took it out and left it in the kitchen for him to look at and examine, and he did just that, but he would NOT sit on it.  I would ask him if he wanted to sit on it, and he gave me a flat out "NO".   So I left him alone.  The next day he examined it as usual and would squat and look at it, but would NOT sit on it, even if I encouraged him.  That night he decided to creep up to it and start to sit down, but then he saw me watching him and said "Go away mommy, go away".  So I started to walk away, and then I peeked back and saw him sitting on it!  I turned the corner and started to laugh.  Then a little later, Dallin came up and while I was cleaning up the kitchen, I over heard Dallin persuading Owen to sit on the potty, and when he did he said "Good Job!"  And then Dallin was able to coax Owen into sitting on the potty without his diaper on, and he did!  I gave Owen a diego sticker for his efforts and praised him.  Then while I was on clearing the table, I looked over at Dallin and Owen and saw that Dallin had Owen laying on his back on the floor and Dallin was putting a diaper on Owen just like he sees me do!!  I just cracked up!  I unfortunately did not get any pictures of it.

Funny Boy

Dallin & Owen were in my room jumping on my bed as usual, and I was checking my email and listening to music, and Dallin asked me if I could put his favorite song on, which is "What's left of me", by Nick Lachey from my playlist from the blog, and so I did.  Halfway through the song, he asks me if I could play it again when it was done, and I asked him why it was his favorite song, and he says, "Mommy, I like it sooooooo much".  And of course I played it again (two more times). :P  What a funny boy.  It's not often that he expresses his "nice" feelings. :) And he usually doesn't like mushy slow songs. :P

THIS ONE'S FOR LACEY

 Lacey wanted to see Bella and her new stylish doggy coat, so here she is!  She just peed on the floor while I was trying to put her coat on. UGH!  That's why her ears are down.  She knows she's in trouble.  

ETHAN'S LATE AND QUICK BIRTHDAY!

It was a very long and stressful day for me.  I had all these aspirations of getting my house spick and span, and  getting decorations up for our family party.......But that was all shot to pieces when I woke up tired and remained tired throughout the day, and my attempt at making homemade cup cakes for Ethan's class failed the first time, so then I had to do it all over again.  And while in the process of that, Owen got into the frosting that I was trying to turn red, which was actually looking like a bright pink, and smeared it all over his self and got some on our couch, and some on my bed.  He also got a roll of toilet paper, and decided to tear it all up and string it all over the living room!  When Ethan got home, time flew by until it was time to go to his concert at school.  I managed to make a cake before we left.  When we got back, (which was 8pm ),  I had to make the frosting and wrap his presents all the while Owen was trying to open Ethan's presents and pitching a huge fit because the presents weren't his.  But we managed to get through it all and have a pleasant short party for Ethan.  By the way, He did GREAT at his school concert!  I will post that up when Heber edits it.  

JUMPING!

Owen has started a daily ritual.  He comes in my room one, two, or three times a day and pulls off the covers and pillows on my bed and getts up on my bed and starts jumping on it!  Then Dallin comes in and jumps with him, and since Ethan was home at time I took these pictures, he joined them.  Ethan made it a point to wait till the flash went off and then he would make a crazy face!  He thought he was pretty funny stuff, and well he made me laugh pretty hard. :)  Owen does not like to wear clothes as you can tell.  He would be totally naked if It were up to him, but I drew the line there. :P  And Dallin loves to hang out in shorts.  This is a small glimpse of what it's like to raise 3 boys! :P

I'M A BRUNETTE!!

So girls, what do you think?  I like my brown hair.  My natural hair color is actually pretty similar to this.  We'll see how long I can stay brown :P  I'm sure I'll keep it this color for a while.
